Moved to a new apartment. So these are the last photos from the old one. It was fun to live there. And Xiu Xiu peed all over the place when she was little.
Xiu Xiu has her first heat. Bye bye agility class. Hello running marathons from male dogs. Oh my!
Yes, this is how Xiu Xiu acts. Very positive comics.
Thought I met a new friend today, we had a good laugh and I did a little dance.
When I looked to see if he was dancing too he was gone, wonder where he went?

Experimenting with soft ice-cream for dogs. Frozen banana and beef baby food (salt free) mixed in blender. It was nice and soft after the blending. But when I froze it became harder than I expected. But Xiu Xiu still likes it a lot.
Will try some different recipe later.
Went to our first agility class today. Have you ever tried to run ahead of your vall and not to crush into barriers? It’s super fun.
Xiu Xiu the vallhund. Swedish design, assembled in Finland, no ban on import to Russia.
Xiu Xiu likes two things, to talk (she can make a whole range of sounds without actually barking) and to pose in front of a camera.
Every time I’m talking to her she’s vocalizing back. This time I asked her if she wanted to pose for me. Xiu Xiu said something like “aaaaaauuuuuuuuoooo” and wigged her tiny tail. “Ok”, replied I, “let’s go to the balcony”. Then she ran ahead of me to the balcony, jumped on the bench and started posing. I must say I started to thing she knows Russian already.
She is a real spionhund.
Det var Xiu Xius födelsdag i måndagas. Vi firade med glassen med köttsås.
A few more photos from Xiu Xiu’s birthday celebration. Ice-cream with meat sauce was good!
It was too hot outside for active games. So Xiu Xiu and Jessi were lying on the grass and lazily biting each other.

I think it’s time to tell you a sad story of how we met Xiu Xiu. I finally can tell it without tears in my eyes. When I was looking for a vallhund puppy I wanted a boy. And I found only one available in a kennel in Finland. His name was Morris. A week before the appointed time for me to pick him up and bring to Russia I got a shocking message from the breeder. Morris was hit by the car in the middle of the night. Nobody knew how he managed to get through a few fences and find a car in the middle of the night in rural Finland. But it happened. I was devastated. In my mind he was already with us. I dreamed how I would play with him, walk him, spend time together etc. But it never happened. After the accident Oili, owner of Jaxonville Kennel, was kind enough to suggest me to take one of her dogs. It was Xiu Xiu. And now we happily live almost a year together. And I’m looking forward for more.
